This page explains what information this website collects, why I collect it, and what you can do about it. I keep it short and specific. If something here is not clear, write to me and I will explain it.
Who is responsible
This website belongs to Alan Longo, performance coach, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am the person responsible for the information collected here.

What this policy covers
This policy covers alanlongo.com: the newsletter, workshop registrations, applications to group programs, the contact email and the link to book a call.
What I collect and why
Newsletter. When you subscribe, I collect your email address, and your first name if you give it. I use it to send you the newsletter. Every email has a link to unsubscribe in one click.
Workshop registrations. When you reserve a place or join the waiting list for a workshop, I collect your name, your email address, who referred you if you tell me, and which workshop you registered for. I use it to confirm your place, send you the details, and tell you about future workshops if you joined the waiting list. You only receive the newsletter if you check that box.
Applications to group programs. When you apply, I collect your name, your email address and the answers you give in the application. I use them to review your application and reply to you.
Emails you send me. If you write to me, I receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. I use it to reply.
Booking a call. The booking link opens an online scheduling page. It asks for your name and email address so the call can be scheduled and you receive the invitation.
Analytics. I use an analytics service to understand how the site is used: which pages people visit, how they arrived, their approximate location (country or city), and their type of device and browser. It does not give me your name or your email. I use it to know which pages are useful and which ones need work.
What I do not do
I do not sell your information, and I do not use it for advertising.
The services I use
Some providers process information for me, only to run the site and the services described above:
- An email marketing provider, for the newsletter, workshop registrations and applications.
- An email delivery service, which sends form submissions to my inbox.
- An analytics provider.
- A scheduling provider, for booking calls.
- A web hosting provider.
- An email provider, for messages sent to performance@alanlongo.com.
These providers may store information outside your country, including in the United States, under their own data protection terms for international transfers.
The legal basis
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this is the basis for each use:
- Newsletter and workshop registrations: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Replying to your emails, reviewing applications and scheduling calls: what you asked me to do.
- Analytics: your consent where the law requires it, and my legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.
How long I keep it
Newsletter. Until you unsubscribe. After that you receive no more emails. If you also want your information deleted, ask me and I will delete it.
Workshops. As long as it is useful to organise current and future workshops. Ask me and I will delete it.
Applications. As long as needed to review them and, if we work together, to organise the program. Ask me and I will delete it.
Emails. As long as needed to answer you and keep a record of our conversation.
Analytics. For a limited period, after which it is deleted automatically.
Cookies
The analytics service uses cookies, small files your browser stores, to count visits and see how pages are used. The site does not use cookies for advertising.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
You can ask me to:
- Show you the information I have about you.
- Correct it if it is wrong.
- Delete it.
- Stop using it for a specific purpose.
- Send it to you in a format you can use somewhere else.
You can also withdraw your consent at any time. That does not affect what was done before you withdrew it.
To do any of this, write to performance@alanlongo.com. I reply within the time the law requires. There is no cost.
Complaints
If you think I handled your information badly, please write to me first. Most problems have a simple solution.
You can also contact a data protection authority. In the European Union, that is the authority in your country. In Argentina, it is the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP).
Under Argentine law, you have the right to access your personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless you have a legitimate reason to ask sooner (Law 25.326, article 14, section 3).

Age
This site is for adult professional players. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and I do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Security
The site uses HTTPS, and I only use established providers to store your information. No system is completely secure, but I take reasonable care to protect what you share with me.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, I will update the date at the top of this page.
